My visit to Joshua Tree National Park was in March, which was the perfect temperature to visit in the evening. We arrived at 4pm and stayed until dark.
Visiting National Parks at night is underrated, no parks (that I know of) close at night, and you can see so many stars.
For safety, don't go alone, fill up your gas tank prior to, and keep a powerful flashlight. Always be prepared.
Joshua Tree National Park has a hidden trail to this heart-shaped rock!
The Cholla Cactus Garden is a must stop for a day trip, just a quick flat 0.25 mile hike.
Plan your night hike for a full moon and you will have more visibility.
